Lawyer Wang Guangren Hired as Legislative Consultant by Provincial People's Congress

After a study and decision by the meeting of directors of the standing Committee of the 10th Shandong Provincial people's Congress, Director Wang Guangren was appointed as a "legislative consultant" by the standing Committee of the Provincial people's Congress ". The term of office is five years.
Legislative consulting experts are mainly selected from well-known professors, senior lawyers and other people with high social reputation and social influence. According to the working rules of legislative consulting experts formulated by the provincial people's Congress, the main responsibilities are to draft local laws and regulations according to the entrustment of the people's Congress or special committees; to participate in the demonstration of legislative projects and legislative suggestions, joint drafting of laws and regulations and draft decisions, regulatory clearance and filing review, and to undertake legislative quality assessment and legislative issues; propose amendments to the relevant draft laws solicited by the Legislative Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and the relevant local laws and regulations of the province; conduct investigations and studies around local legislation, and put forward suggestions and opinions on improving local legislative work; undertake the members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress Teaching tasks of legal lectures; participate in inquiries and answers on issues related to local laws and regulations.
