Lawyer Yao Huming Hired as Public Welfare Protection Supervisor of Jinan People's Procuratorate
On November 17, the appointment ceremony of the public welfare protection supervisor of the Jinan Municipal People's Procuratorate was held at the Municipal Procuratorate. Yao Huming, chairman of the board of supervisors of Zhongcheng Qingtai law firm, was selected as the first public welfare protection supervisor of Jinan Municipal People's Procuratorate, and attended the meeting as a representative of public welfare protection supervisor.
The selection and appointment of public welfare protection supervisors is a concentrated manifestation of the Jinan City Procuratorate's earnest implementation of the deployment requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and the Provincial Procuratorate, and the full performance of public interest litigation procuratorial functions. At the same time, it is also an important measure for the Jinan City Procuratorate to explore the establishment of a public welfare protection supervisor system, further improve the level of judicial case handling, gather a strong joint force for public welfare protection, and do a good job in procuratorial public interest litigation in the new era. The city has selected 50 outstanding representatives from various fields, including deputies to the National People's Congress, members of the CPPCC, experts and scholars, party and government agencies, and enterprises and institutions, to serve as public welfare protection supervisors for a period of three years.
Yao Huming, a lawyer who was selected as a public welfare protection supervisor, said he had a great responsibility and a glorious mission. In the future work, we will do our best to perform the duties of public welfare protection supervisor and give full play to the role of "propagandist", "supervisor" and "think tank" of public interest litigation. Actively make suggestions and suggestions from the perspective of lawyers, and contribute to the rule of law to promote the scientific and standardized development of public interest litigation.
